REC is now accepting Member applications for our launch in September.

REC offers an engaging and enriching environment for individuals with dementia and Parkinson’s. Please note that, in order to ensure a safe and positive experience for all involved, we can only accept Members who:
Are ambulatory (ie. able to walk, either with or without assistive devices)
Are able to toilet themselves (materials to address incontinence will be provided, but we are unable to provide assistance in the bathroom)
Are able to take any needed medications on their own (we can provide a reminder, but we cannot administer medication)
Do not display aggressive or otherwise negative behaviors towards others
To ensure the program is a good fit for your loved one, an in-depth application process will be conducted. If you’d like to apply, here are the next steps:

Read through all of the application materials carefully.

Don’t delay! Space is limited, and applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. When the program fills, we will start a waitlist.
If your Member application looks like a good fit for our program, we will be in touch to set up an intake interview. If it does not seem that our program will suit your needs, we will be in touch to let you know about alternate options.
Our application process is carefully conducted by qualified volunteers. Please be patient with our team, as it takes time to sort through applications and determine whether you are a good candidate for REC membership.
